This was by far the longest thing I'd ever written, and while I did get it finished and posted before the second half of Season 3 started airing, it was a near thing, and I was afraid that a lot of people weren't looking for long fic the day (really night) before the first new episode aired. And then we had the canon version. Since mine went OT3 it was ultimately always going to be AU, but I wonder if it would have maybe gotten a few more hits if it had come out in the middle of the hiatus instead of hours before the start of S3.5. Okay, now I'm rambling. Thanks again for the feedback!
