Random Life Stuff

So today was less than good.  I came down with a cold Sunday evening, and though I'm feeling a lot better today, I'm still tired and my throat is a little scratchy.  I went to the student union cafeteria for lunch, and one of the cafeteria workers knocked into my elbow from behind while I was putting hot water in my tea mug, causing me to spill *really* hot water on my hand, and, shortly after that, to drop the mug on the counter.  A second worker asked me what happened when she heard/saw the mug drop.  I told her.  She suggested I put my hand under the water tap for the soft drink machine.  The woman who hit me was completely oblivious!  Then this afternoon I had to teach the second half of a freshman biology lab on DNA.  It's exhausting, because there are actually three experiments going on simultaneously, and we have to jump back and forth between them, so I basically spend three hours constantly telling the students what to do and making sure we stay on task and on time so that we can actually finish the lab in roughly three hours.  Put a fork in me, I'm done.  I think I need some schmoop.  Or schmoopy H/C.  Or something.
