As I mentioned to another commenter, I was having a little bit of trouble working out the ending of the story, so I'm very glad that you liked the last paragraph so much. I got the image in my head of Peter and Neal on the sofa, with Neal having fallen asleep, and it worked for me. Glad it worked for you, too. :-)
