I mentioned this already on FFR, having finished the first part, but this is really just lovely. Even if it is contradicted by 2x11, everything feels really in-character--especially that "yes, dad" quip from Neal, given what Peter will come to be like for Neal later on, and Peter's sometimes unwilling concern for him.

I especially like the touches with the pizza and the flowers, and how keenly Neal has observed their marriage. The line about him actually trying to apologize to El was unbelievably sweet. I'm so sorry this was plagiarized, but very glad to have come across it. Thank you! :)
